Dennis is currently a licensed realtor in the state of Florida. He specializes in locating, buying, selling and lending options for his clients focusing on identifying intrinsic and fair values for both sides of a safe and secure transaction. Dennis has over forty-five years’ experience with developing, managing and owning various residential, commercial, and Government Services Administration properties in NJ, FL, WV, and South America. He has been a member of the Infrastructure Committee for the Ocean Reef Condominium Association in Ocean City, NJ, and the Steering Committee for the Coronado Golf Residents Association, while residing in the Republic of Panama. He is a past board member for four years of the HOA for the community of Villa d’Este in PGA National, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Ferry concentrates on working with and advising a limited number of clients at any given time in order to provide maximum personal attention to the needs of each. His previous clients are available to offer their first hand experiences with Dennis as their agent for the asking.
Prior to residing in South Florida, Ferry held various positions in higher education including Executive Director, Director of Admissions, Director of Educational Services, and Adjunct Professor of Management. As a member of the New Jersey Education Association, he served three terms as president of a local affiliation. Ferry has been successful in developing and receiving higher education grant awards well over seven figures for college readiness programs for New Jersey students.
Dr. Ferry has a B.S. degree from Rutgers University, an M.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and doctoral degree in Leadership from Widener University, where his doctoral dissertation was published in 1996. He was invited to present his research in 1997 at a meeting of the Eastern Regional Research Association. He was a team member for High Schools That Work for Camden City, NJ. He has previously served as a member of the Citizens Advisory Board for the Camden County Correctional Facility in NJ, where he founded an “Inmate Transition Program”. He also has conducted research on alternative incarceration in Honduras, and investigated advances in literacy in Nicaragua. He has taught business management classes to inmates at a New Jersey State Prison and has been a volunteer with Karios International, a Prison Ministry Program.
Following damages caused by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Dr. Ferry was instrumental in launching and spearheading a donation and distribution of emergency school supplies to over 400 students impacted by the hurricane. He has also volunteered to assist with hurricane relief donation efforts to Abaco, Bahamas.
Ferry served six years in the United States Army Reserve. He is a licensed pilot, and he was a volunteer in the National Ski Patrol System for 14 years. Dr. Ferry was a charter member of the Board of Directors for Liberty State Financial Services in NJ. He has also been a volunteer coach for Our Lady of Hope School in NJ, and a member of Rotary International, where he served as Director of New Generations, an educational outreach program for youth scholars and the disabled in the Republic of Panama. He currently continues to work with and provide support for rural scholars and disabled children in Panama.
Ferry is bilingual, an avid tennis player and currently maintains a residence in Palm Beach County, Florida, with his wife and daughter.
