Skelly Holmbeck
Skelly has wide ranging experience leading strategic initiatives for high risk and high profile sectors and projects. She serves as Executive Director for the Water Resources Association of the Delaware River Basin (WRADRB), promoting the sustainable and resilient management of water resources within the Delaware River basin, which spans four states and provides drinking water for 15 million people. She is an Investment Advisor for Ben Franklin Technology Partners, a Board Member for the Chester County Solid Waste Authority, a member of the Board of Directors for the Smart Energy Initiative of Southeastern Pennsylvania, and on the Advisory Board of the Urban Land Institute of Philadelphia. Skelly has led strategic initiatives for iBUILD Global, facilitating, coordinating and providing leadership to enhance technical capabilities and secure critical resources. She led strategic sustainability initiatives for NextEra Energy, where she oversaw budget, finance, and risk management for operations nationwide and launched an international partnership with Oxford, TCU, Stanford, UCLA, Duke University, the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, USFWS, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory to address key challenges to the growth of sustainable and resilient energy infrastructure. Skelly has a BS in physics from Clemson, and an MS in Hydrogeology with a focus on computer modeling from the University of Georgia.
